Executive Director of Docs In Progress, a U.S. nonprofit
organization which helps develop emerging documentary filmmakers through
classes, workshops, work in progress screenings, and other professional
development programs.In addition to her
work managing the organization, which is based outside of
WashingtonDC,
Erica also teaches classes on documentary appreciation and is the co-moderator
for Docs In Progress screenings. Erica is the Program Chair of the Utopia Film
Festival, a community-based festival.She has also curated the Council on Foundations Film Festival and been a
volunteer screener for SILVERDOCS.She
has written for *DOX *and *The Independent* and is the newsletter editor,
principal writer, and blogger for Docs In Progress.
