Blerta Zeqiri
Born in 1979 in Prishtina, Kosovo, she discovered her talent for story-telling in her early teens as a songwriter and wanted to later use that in her passion – film. This way, she started as a scriptwriter in a few student shorts, before she teamed up with her sister Lendita Zeqiraj to tell a story about the war in Kosovo. The resulting short film was the highly acclaimed EXIT and it took part in many international film festivals, winning top prizes in 3 of them.
