DOKUFEST GOES GREEN
For the first time this year, DokuFest will present the Green Docs award for the Best Documentary addressing environmental issues. The five films running in this category are: “A sea change” (USA), “H2Oil” (CAN), “Peace with seals” (CZE), “Addicted to Plastic” (CAN) and “Home” (FRA).
Jury members include: Ilda Mara, Casey Copper Johnson and Eliza Hoxha.
This year, DokuFest will also be calculating the dioxide carbon emission for each Dokufest official guest traveling by airplane and other means of transportation. Damage caused by dioxide carbon emission will be compensated by converting it to monetary value, and the funds will be used to forest a specific area in Prizren.
