Yesterday, DokuFest 2010 special programs have started to be screened during the whole day in all festival’s cinemas. The screened films are included in special programs such as: Spotlight Afghanistan which deals with the subject of war in Afghanistan, Europe Next Door, the program that treats the subject of European integration and the issue of emigrants in Europe, Cities on Speed, View from the World as well as the selection of Finnish films about manhood which compound the Made in program for this year (Made in Finland).

To mark the opening of the Made In Finland special program, a cocktail took place in the centre of Prizren. Many officials from the Finnish Embassy in Kosova, festival guests and filmmakers and the President of the Municipality of Prizren , Mr. Ramadan Muja were present in this gathering.

During the day, a master class with the director of the film Space Tourist, Christian Frei took place.

Five films competing for best shorts were screened in the Riverbed Cinema. Also, A Blooming Business by Ton van Zantvoort which competes on the Green Dox category was screened in The Fortress Cinema.

Specials of today’s programs are: Discussion panel with one of the biggest ex-Yugoslavian film directors,Ā  Zelimir Zilnik (@5pm) and a workshop about editing with the famous Hungarian director Marcel Ivany (@10am-4pm). Both of the happenings will take place in the Gazi Mehmet Pasha Bath.

Today the DokuKids program will be launched at the music school. A novice will be the special program Oberhausen on Tour. Also, during the evening, films competing on the Short film and International Documentary Competition will be screened.
