Voice messages appear on an abandoned phone in the basement of a government ministry. Over the crackle of the line, asylum seekers waiting indefinitely in detention centres around the UK begin to break the silence. As they speak their experiences materialize in dark and nightmarish images.

Director's Biography

Trained as a filmmaker in Buenos Aires and Cuba, he has since worked on a number of international productions in Latin America, Germany, Portugal, the UK & the USA. He has directed a compelling series of works comprising documentaries, dramas and non-narrative work that have picked up several international awards.
