Ben Mars has been a character animator for the past four years, since graduating from the London Animation Studio at St Martin’s College.

He has worked as an animator on series, shorts, adverts and videos, including the British Animation Awards title sequence 2004, Sindy The Fairy Princess, Boo!, Tweenies, Cubeez and Trouble TV’s animaTe commercial.

Little Dog Turpie is the first film he has directed.

Synopsis 

Little Dog Turpie is a 5 minute animated film, based on a folk tale sometimes called Little Dog Turpie and the Hobyahs / Hobyar men.
The animation style is inspired by German Expressionist woodcuts and the drawings
